Automatic Monitoring and Targeting (AMT)

AMT equipment is used to monitor the level of energy a building uses. We use this information to establish where energy might be wasted and where energy saving measures will be most effective.

By analysing the information produced by the AMT equipment we can pinpoint and manage the measures which will offer the fastest, most effective results.

The Carbon Trust showed that, on average, organisations that use AMT identified 12% carbon savings and achieved cost savings of 5% through reduced utility consumption. (Source: CTC714 – ‘Advanced Metering for SMEs: Carbon and CostSavings’, Carbon Trust, May 2007).

 

AMT provides managers with the vital information to make informed decisions on energy saving measures they need.

AMT will monitor energy consumption before and after taking energy saving action giving accurate information on the level of savings that have been achieved.

 

 

AMT equipment can monitor electricity, gas, water, heat and a number of other energy formats. The information is collected and stored by an automatic meter reader and collated by the monitoring software.
